Thousands of small pieces of high-quality Hard Maple are meticulously combined to craft these one-of-a-kind mosaic chopping boards. These are a labor of love; requiring a huge amount of time and hardwood to create. This is a Rectilinear Mosaic - all the pieces are rectangular, square, and/or aligned linearly.
This is a little smaller than our Butcher size at 14 x 10 x 2. We have 8 of these available. The board pictured here may or may not be the board you purchase, but all boards are similar to this. Feet WILL be installed on this board. If you don't want feet, check the "remove feet" box before adding it to your cart. You can add finger grooves, juice groove and/or engraving for an additional fee.

After soaking in oil, and using this board for 3 days, the board is already warped. I did not test this before oiling, but it is possible that this board arrived warped and I did not know. I should have checked as soon as I unboxed it. I have already tried various fixes for the warping, but have not been successful. I am starting to think this is just the natural shape of the wood and it needs to be re-sanded to correct the flaw. This was poorly made.
