728 Maple Sidekick 12 x 9 x 1.5 with Finger Grooves (40 In Stock)

Occasionally we have a pretty board that has a few more voids or mineral streaks than we'd like to see on what we consider our premium boards. As we know from Wisdom Behind the Wood, almost all Maple has mineral streaks. It is the nature of Maple. We try to minimize them when we can, but they don't affect quality, form or function. But we give them a little discount because they might not match everyone's personal aesthetic preference.

We have 40 of these Sidekicks in stock. This is only 1 example. Every board will be different and you most likely will NOT get this exact board. However, each board is similar to this one in that it will have some kind of imperfection in aesthetics (not in bulid). Either the board has multiple mineral marks, slightly larger filled voids, or perhaps just a slightly smaller board than our normal 12 x 9 Sidekick.

This board already comes equipped with Finger Grooves. A Juice Groove and/or engraving are also available for a small fee.

Feet will NOT come standard on this board, but if you order a set we will be happy to install them for you.

Maple cutting boards need a lot of oil, so please don't forget to add a care kit! All cutting boards need to be oiled to full saturation, but especially maple!
