459 Cherry Edge Grain with Bottom Perimeter Groove & Finger Grooves

Customers occasionally order an Edge Grain board with a Bottom Perimeter Groove - this is a juice groove that follows the rectangular pattern of the board and does not bump out to allow for feet. When cutting the groove in this particular board, we accidentally cut it deeper than we normally do. We thought this could bother some people, so we decided to give this one a slight discount. A deep groove isn't a bad thing - especially if you are pulling a lot of meat off the grill!

An end grain block is comprised of lots of smaller blocks of wood glued vertically. You can learn more about the difference in this video if you are interested.

End Grain boards are easier on a knife's edge and don't show knife marks as prominently. Edge Grain (sometimes called Face Grain) boards are less expensive because they take less wood and less labor.

We recommend cutting on one side and using the other side as a display and charcuterie surface. These make great gifts!

This board already comes equipped with Finger Grooves and a Bottom Perimeter Groove. Engraving is available for a small fee.

Feet cannot be added to this board due to the Bottom Perimeter Groove.
