Occasionally we have a pretty board that has a few more voids or mineral streaks than we'd like to see on what we consider our premium boards. As we know from Wisdom Behind the Wood, almost all Maple has mineral streaks. It is the nature of Maple. We try to minimize them when we can, but they don't affect quality, form or function. But we give them a little discount because they might not match everyone's personal aesthetic preference.
This pretty little Cherry doesn't have mineral streaks, but it does have a filled void on the back of the board that warranted a small discount. Otherwise it's just lovely!
This board already comes equipped with Finger Grooves. A Juice Groove and/or engraving are also available for a small fee.
Feet will NOT come standard on this board, but if you order a set we will be happy to install them for you.
