Occasionally we have a pretty board that has a few more voids or mineral streaks than we'd like to see on what we consider our premium boards. As we know from Wisdom Behind the Wood, almost all Maple in particular has mineral streaks. It is the nature of Maple. We try to minimize them when we can, but they don't affect quality, form or function. But we give them a little discount because they might not match everyone's personal aesthetic preference.
We debated on this one because these aren't really mineral streaks on this pretty little Cherry. Really it's just how the grain pattern looks. It has darker streaks within the grain. We think it looks pretty darn cool!
This board already comes equipped with Finger Grooves. A Juice Groove and/or engraving are also available for a small fee.
Feet will NOT come standard on this board, but if you order a set we will be happy to install them for you.
