Occasionally we have a pretty board that has a few more voids or mineral streaks than we'd like to see on what we consider our premium boards. As we know from Wisdom Behind the Wood, almost all Maple has mineral streaks. It is the nature of Maple. We try to minimize them when we can, but they don't affect quality, form or function. But we give them a little discount because they might not match everyone's personal aesthetic preference.

This board doesn't really have voids, but it has some hairline cracks we tried to fill. The cracks shouldn't ever grow or cause structural issues. We believe these are just small cracks that all walnut has at a microscopic level. But we gave it a heavier discount to be on the safe side.

This board already comes equipped with Finger Grooves. A Juice Groove and/or engraving are also available for a small fee.

Feet will NOT come standard on this board, but if you order a set we will be happy to install them for you.
